I've always been drawn to the ocean and beaches as well as beautiful colors and beautiful jewelry so this form of artistic expression comes naturally to me. I find it fascinating that something we discarded as trash many years ago has come back to us as treasure. Jewelry quality sea worn glass is a diminishing commodity that cannot be authentically replicated so its value is increasing dramatically. Thankfully we don't throw our trash in the ocean anymore and unfortunately we use more plastic than glass so it's getting harder to find. The rarer colors command high prices from collectors worldwide. Genuine authentic sea tumbled sea glass takes many years to become smooth and shaped by waves, rocks and sand.
