There were glass factories along the north east coast of England in the late 1800s that all closed in the early 1920s. At the end of the workday they would dump trash glass over the cliffs into the sea and 100 years later these lovely well worn pieces shaped by years of tumbling in the salty sea pieces of sea glass are still washing up in the rocks and sand. This very old piece was set into a unique cocktail pronged statement ring stamped with a wave design in sterling silver.
