Beautiful jewelry with historical significance. This lovely one of a kind heirloom piece of jewelry has sea glass that’s likely over 100 years old. On the north east coast of England there were glass factories in the late 1800s that used to dump their trash glass over the cliffs at the end of the workday. These factories all closed in the early 1920s with the invention of machinery to make glassware. These well shaped frosted pieces have been tumbling around in the north sea since then.
